The redesign of the Vanity Salon site was two levels. The site needed restructuring with new title words and organization. I rebranded the “gallery” page as the press page, so that it can hold both a gallery and pull outs from events they have worked and costumer references. The site also needed a design overhaul because it in no way matched the look of the business. Vanity Salon is an Aveda concept salon, so a clean contemporary look is a must, but then the company itself has an Austin artist vibe with local art and sculptures in the yard. I pulled the purple of the façade and the clean black and white images to combine the two needs.
